Pride Artwork 004 Edit

So this is me and a group I attends contribution to northern Pride 2013 I drew the ginger girl and the girl with the the bunches and my friend painted them since im quite clumsy with paints, personally I think she did great job coloring them. the rest were done by the other members of the group they're also did a great job on theirs.

The idea this art piece is expressing is how transgender people usually have to hide what they feel they really are, like they are wearing a mask of the gender that society views them to be. on this board and the other two one of the faces will have a removable mask of the opposite gender covering it like the ginger girl on this board will have a boy mask covering her symbolizing that the boy is what everyone else sees but the girl is what they feel like on the inside.
I also view it as a before and after thing to like the gender on the mask is their old self and the face under neath is what they've became.
Its not finished yet but the finished version will be at Northern pride and i might upload pics.
